Nonprofit Copywriter & Supporter Loyalty Strategist

Your mission is powered by dedicated people. So why does it feel like you’re stuck?

If you’re struggling with

  • High churn and low retention
  • Low conversion rates
  • Flat donation averages
  • Supporters who don’t engage with your organization in deeper or multiple ways

it’s probably time to look at how and how often you’re communicating with your supporters.

I help small to mid-size nonprofits treat supporters like partners instead of ATMs. My mission is to transform your communications from a transaction engine into a relationship engine, using storytelling and strategy to turn one-time interest into lifelong commitment.

A distinctive blend of empathy, strategy, and efficiency

My path to becoming a nonprofit copywriter and strategist was a bit unconventional, but every step taught me how to connect and communicate with an audience. My unique experiences as an actor, a fundraiser, and a mom taught me how to tell stories that move people and drive results.

Acting taught me voice and empathy

I don’t just write copy. I inhabit your organization’s voice and uncover your audience’s deepest motivations. I craft messaging that sounds human and hits the right notes to bring your organization’s stories to life.

Fundraising honed my understanding of psychology and data-driven results

I spent a decade in the trenches as an in-house development professional. I know donor psychology. I know how to move people through a pipeline. And I know how to grow retention (like the 12% increase I delivered for a past client).

Motherhood trained me to be laser-focused and pivot on a dime

I understand feeling capacity-strapped because I’ve been there, at work and in life. I prioritize what works, cut what doesn’t, and deliver on time. Because when your resources are thin, efficiency isn’t just a goal. It’s a necessity.

Let’s discuss how my unique blend of experiences can elevate your mission.

I don’t just write emails. I build relationships.

Most organizations start with “What should we send and when?” I start by asking questions that actually drive loyalty, not just dollars:

  • WHO are we talking to? (Donors, volunteers, members, or subscribers?)
  • WHAT does success look like? (Is it less churn? Higher gift amounts? Deeper involvement?)
  • HOW are we reaching them? (Is the frequency and channel right for them?)
  • WHY are we sharing this specific story? (Every piece of content needs a job to do.)
  • WHAT do they need from you? (Building trust starts with understanding what your supporters actually value.)

Solutions for supporter loyalty

Their inboxes are filled with noise. You need to bring meaning.

I combine strategic storytelling with donor psychology to build communications that don’t just reach people—they move them. From first-touch welcome sequences to your monthly anchor newsletter, every project is designed to turn your supporters’ interest into a long-term investment in your mission.

Newsletters

Not the “here’s a list of things coming up at our organization” kind. I’m talking deep-dives that your audience will want to read, prompting them to stay engaged or take the next step.

Email Campaigns

Including fundraising appeals, donor communications, and nurture sequences. Emails that build community and trust so readers are ready to click when you ask them to.

Your website shouldn’t just be a transaction portal. It’s the seat of your storytelling. Anyone who visits should know who you are, what you do, why, and, most importantly, why it matters to them.
